For over 91 years, CO-OP Gas & Supply Company has been more than just a propane, farm, home, and hardware store—we’ve been a community of neighbors helping neighbors. Founded in 1934 by local families who each invested $10 to build something lasting for Bonner County, we’ve grown into one of the oldest cooperatives in the Sandpoint–Ponderay area.
Today, anyone can shop with us—but becoming a member is completely FREE and comes with real benefits. Members enjoy our low in-store pricing on everyday items, plus the opportunity to receive dividends at the end of the year—because when you’re part of the CO-OP, you share in the success.

What's Coming Up? A Photo Contest!
We have a contest coming up!
It has been a long time since we did anything like this and I think it will be fun for everyone. There will be some prizes, and the whole community can participate and enjoy the fruit of it!We are going to have a photo contest!
Specifically, a Autumn Color Photo Contest.The contest begins today and everyone has until October 28th end of business to submit one (1) photo in each of three categories: Landscape, people, and Home Entry / Barn Entry Autumn Decore’.

Autumn Photo Contest 2026
Rules: Photo must be in color taken with a digital camera or phone camera. Photo must be submitted to The CO-OP via email in jpeg or pdf format no later than Wednesday October 28, 2026 by 5:00 pm. Photo must be submitted with name of photographer, location of image taken, what photo device has been used, and a contact email or phone number. No private information will be made public without permission. Photos can be from any location in the United States. Each person may submit up to one (1) photo in each of three categories: Landscape, People, and Home Entry / Barn Entry Decor”.
Photos submitted will be viewed by a judging team comprised of
professional photographers and designers so submit your best. As the days go by, photos will be presented in rotation on the top of our Home Page be viewed by the public. However, winning photos will be chosen by The CO-OP. So, let’s see what you’ve got!
Submit photos in jpeg or pdf format to:
kathy@coopgasandsupply.com with Autumn Entry in the message line. Photos may be submitted bearing watermark.
Prizes will be in the form of CO-OP Gift Cards:
$100 First Prize in each category ; $75 Second Prize in each category
$50 Third Prize in each category. The Autumn Color Photo Contest will end promptly at 5:00 PM October 28, 2026. Winners will be contacted the following week and be published in the November issue of The CO-OP Country Round Up. The winning photos will also be on our Facebook Page and website Home Page. Entry into this contest indicates agreement to these terms.
